Larva on Rosa majalis
Itämies, J., Mutanen, M. & Mutanen, T.: Lampronia standfussiella (Zeller, 1839) (Lepidoptera, Prodoxidae) new to Finland. - Baptria 21(3):119-121. 1996
Lampronia standfussiella is reported for the first time from Finland. Two male specimens were taken ObN: Rovaniemi mlk, northern Finland, 20.6.1994. Additional specimens were netted 17.6.1995 from the same locality. Old museum samples date even so early as 31.5.1943 from Russian Karelia. The present speciemens were swept from the rose bushes Rosa majalis, which is supposed to be the food plant. The moth and the male genitalia are illustrated.
